Traffic congestion, limited public transport options, and increasing travel demand continue to affect mobility, economic productivity, and quality of life in Baguio. At the same time, infrastructure for walking and cycling remains fragmented, while land use and transportation planning are not always fully integrated.
The City is seeking innovative approaches to develop a smart, connected, and people-centered mobility system. Solutions should improve public transportation, support Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), strengthen pedestrian and cycling networks, leverage data for traffic management, and promote safe, accessible, and sustainable travel for residents and visitors alike.
