While Baguio has made significant progress in healthcare delivery, ensuring equitable access to quality health services across all 128 barangays remains a challenge. Differences in access to healthcare facilities, preventive services, health information, and community health programs can result in unequal health outcomes among residents.
The City is seeking innovative approaches to improve the equitable delivery of healthcare services and establish a Core Health Indicator System that enables evidence-based planning and decision-making. Solutions should help measure population health, identify service gaps, and support more responsive and inclusive healthcare policies under Universal Health Care.
