Despite Baguio’s economic growth, some households and communities continue to experience poverty and limited access to opportunities. Achieving the City’s goal of reducing poverty to below 1% of the population by 2043 requires a deeper understanding of who remains vulnerable, the factors that keep them in poverty, and which interventions deliver lasting impact.
The City is seeking innovative approaches to identify priority communities, improve the delivery of social services, strengthen livelihoods, and inform evidence-based policies and programs. Solutions should help ensure that resources are directed where they are needed most and contribute to inclusive, sustainable poverty reduction.
